We were first introduced to each other by Steve Willhite during an International Tea Event at the University Christian Fellowship House in Eugene, OR in the Spring of 2001.  The next fall we both moved into the house, but did not get together until January of 2003 when Katie told me that she liked me.  Right away we knew we were done dating. That summer we went to cook at Four Winds Westward Ho Camp together and before camp ended I bought her a ring and asked her to marry me.  On March 20th, 2004 we were married in Eugene and now we have been happily married over three years.
